Our Services and Solutions at a Glance:
The Decontamination Services
business provides a range of support services to operating rooms,
primary care facilities and orthopaedic loan set suppliers. It is
the largest private provider of sterilisation services for
re-usable medical and surgical instruments within Europe. In
addition Synergy Health is able to provide a complete outsourcing
solution to its customers, managing related logistics and
management information, together with the provision of infection
control systems to minimize risks in the operating room.
Synergy Health provides its specialist Sterilisation Services under the banner of
Isotron, Europe's leading
provider of such services. Using the popular contract
sterilisation technologies of gamma, accelerator-beam and
ethylene oxide, these services are delivered via a network of 18
sites in 8 countries across Europe, Asia and Africa. Our
services are widely used for sterilising single use medical
devices, pharmaceuticals, veterinary and labware products as well
as product decontamination of food, packaging and cosmetics
etc. Other applications include material modification for a
variety of industrial sectors.
The Healthcare Solutions business
provides a range of products and support services to acute, primary
care and nursing home facilities. Our focus is to improve the
patient environment and reduce operational risks through the
provision of integrated solutions. Specialist areas include
infection control, sterile service consumables, skin care and wound
management, patient hygiene and
continence care and surgical products.
Our market leading Linen Management
Services are the only such services to be dedicated to the
specialist needs of healthcare. Through our extensive operations
networks both in the UK and in The Netherlands, managed via our
Dutch subsidiary LTS, we are able to
support hospitals and extended care facilities. Options range
from reusable and sterile linen and
management information, to a fully
integrated service.
The Laboratory Services business is
delivered collectively through our JMJ, Grendonstar, Isotron and Regilabs companies. It encompasses
outsourced microbiological testing
support to medical device manufacturers for routine validations and
product development and pathology
testing for healthcare providers, including our rapid MRSA screening service. Occupational health and
screening services are provided to customers seeking a single
solution for drug and alcohol abuse testing, together with support
in implementing appropriate policies.
