SHLS offers a National Collection Service consisting of a
network of experienced collection technicians across the United
Kingdom who are trained in Chain of Custody procedures and all
protocols used for sample collection, as recommended as best
practice by the UK Laboratory Guidelines for Legally Defensible
Workplace Drug Testing.
SHLS's commitment to quality is further substantiated by
becoming the only Collection Service in the UK
with UKAS accreditation.
This service is audited and assessed annually to ensure that the
standard of service delivered to our clients is compliant in all
areas.
SHLS's provision of an independent, unbiased and professional
team of collection technicians adds value for our clients this
service can help lessen any impact of a testing policy by removing
allegations of prejudice or bias towards the client / donor.
Equipped with Alco-test 7410® or Alco-test 6810 electronic
breathalyzers they can test for the presence of alcohol as well as
a carrying comprehensive range of drug testing kits. SHLS
collectors are able to perform drug testing for our clients by
various matrixes, such as urine, hair or oral fluid dependent on
our clients needs. These tests can be carried out by means of
instant diagnostic tests or samples can be taken under the chain of
custody procedure and sent to our laboratory for full analysis.
