Quality Accreditations

 

The quality of the service we provide our customers is of paramount importance to us; not only in the levels of personal, professional customer liaison and support but also in ensuring the quality of the results that are generated.

 

Synergy Health Laboratory Services holds UKAS Accreditation for many of our services in the field of Toxicology and also boasts the only UKAS accredited National Collections Service in the UK.

 

SHLS takes an active role in the UK NEQAS scheme (National External Quality Assessment Scheme) which regularly sends out samples with known results for testing to ensure that the results generated by our laboratory are reliable and in line with national standards.

 

Extensive work within the rail industry has lead to SHLS being awarded Link-up accreditation, the UK rail industry supplier qualification scheme, providing a single common registration, qualification and audit process. Compulsory for all suppliers to the rail industry, we have maintained this qualification for three years by successful annual audit.

 

Finally, SHLS takes pride in it’s staff and is committed to their development and to ensuring that they have all the skills necessary to improve performance in line with the business strategy. As such, SHLS holds the Investors in People Award (IiP) as evidence of the frameworks in place to facilitate this process.
